Tinsley Emerson
I'm Tinsley. I am 31 years old, living in London, England and working for Fora Travel Advisors. I never thought I would end up in the London but after my husband and I got married in May 2023 we moved shortly after from our home in Chicago. We lived in Chicago, IL for about four years. Prior to that, I spent most of my life in Houston, TX, with four years in Baton Rouge, LA, for college.
I did not travel much growing up as a kid. I had never been out of the country until I was in college, and pretty much the only vacation my family consistently took was skiing for spring break every year (which I am very grateful for.) It was not until my second year out of college that I started getting the travel bug. I was finally making money and able to afford a few weekend trips. This was when I discovered my love of planning. I never thought of myself as much of a reader or researcher until planning trips. I am a little OCD about crafting the perfect vacation and not missing any spots. Now, I love a good itinerary. My background is in interior design which I think is where I have learned to love hotel & restaurant design as well as art history.
Since living in London & traveling to Europe, I have learned a ton. Whether that be debunking tik toks that are calling restaurants incredible, or learning the hard way about tips on transportation. One thing has remained the same, I continue to love planning trips. All of this has lead me to work for Fora and help you plan your next getaway.
I would love to help you plan your upcoming holidays. I have many ways of helping, i can simply book hotels (cruises, cars, & tours) using Fora's network of partners. I do not charge a fee to do this & will get great perks & rates that I will pass along to you. The second option is I can make an itinerary for a flat fee. Then the all inclusive option, I will plan & book the full trip from start to finish.
