I am just starting to get into skincare. When I moved to Chicago, my skin was super dry, and I started to get wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes. When I lived in Houston, I went to Spa Zoey. She waxed my eyebrows, and I would get facials from her. Zoey is very educated. She knew about the body and how it affected acne and let you know what services/facials would be beneficial for specific skin types. She offers an excellent facial and will clean out the pores in your ears. Something I had never experienced!

Other facialists I recommend: Noy Skincare in New York. I had the pleasure of going once. I had a gua sha massage, truly the best facial I have had in my lifetime. Follow her on social media to see the extent of what she does. Also, I swear by her seabuckthorn oil. If your skin is acting up, use it to wash your face and as a moisturizer. The motto here is "less is more."

In Chicago, I have gone to Elysium Spa and Spa Derma. I had one hydro facial at Elysium spa and would highly recommend it. My skin looked amazing after; it was glowing!

In terms of skincare products, I switched between la Mer, SkinCeuticals, and Drunken Elephant. Although I love the smell and feel of la Mer, I was not sold by it. Some of my current favorites are the triple lipid from SkinCeuticals, water facial from Drunken Elephant, Age complex eye cream from SkinCeuticals, and the Phyto corrective serum from SkinCeuticals. I recently started using the Dr. Dennis Ultra Peel pads for sensitive skin. I have already noticed a difference in my complexion and I am only 15 pads in.
