What are Ranger Cookies you ask? Good question. My family coined the name ranger cookies, and I'm actually not sure why because our dog was named Ranger and these cookies have nothing to do with our childhood dachshund. However, we seem to call any cookie consisting of oatmeal and chocolate chips/m&ms a ranger cookie! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups oatmeal 
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 bag of chocolate chips, peanut m&ms or peanut butter m&ms
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 egg 
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Add softened butter in a large bowl with brown sugar. next add in the oats, egg, vanilla. Finally, mix in flour slowly. Add salt & baking soda. Mix in bag of chocolate of choice. Put cookies in oven at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
