My mom found this recipe in 17 magazine when she was a kid. It has been a staple ever since. Growing up we had bins and bins of cookie cutters!
Ingredients: 2 sticks of butter 1 tsp vanilla 3 oz pack cream cheese 1 egg yolk 2 1/2 cups flour 1 cup sugar Directions: Combine Butter and Cream Cheese Add egg yolk and vanilla Beat in flour slowly Mix together into a ball chill overnight in fridge, wrapped in parchment paper next day.. roll out to desired thickness preheat oven to 350 cut out cookies cook for 12 min Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tbsp water 2 tsp lemon juice |
